Hand Crafted Maple coffee table with Walnut and Cherry accents.
I came across this this absolute chonk of Maple at Habitat Restore West along with a collection of Ash and Birch from the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Monona, WI.
I chose to accent the subtle colors and figuring of the Maple top with a brilliant Cherry trestle and an ice cream inspired combination of Walnut, Maple & Cherry legs all sitting on substantial Maple feet.
Rubio Monocoat Pure was used as the finish.
This piece was finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure and all of the work is done in our family’s woodshop just beyond the Terminal Moraine in Cross Plains, WI.
